Armando Pilona, better known as “Manduchi”, is a singer, producer and composer born in Havana, Cuba. With music as a major influence in his life, Manduchi shares that artists such as Celia Cruz, Willy Chirino, Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan have been his role models.
After immigrating to the United States, Manduchi began his musical career in 1999 as a member of the group ¡Que- Flavor! in Madison, Wisconsin. She later worked as a backing vocalist in the group Habana Live in Mexico City and also formed the group Los Isleños in 2004 after her return to the United States. In 2019, Manduchi started his new stage as a solo artist and in 2022 he released his 7-song EP named #40yPico. With a mix of urban music, Brazilian samba fusions, tropical sounds such as guaguancó and Spanish guitar, their 2 singles, “Fiesta Brasil” and “Cuba se Extraña” stand out. The EP was under the production of Mr. King, a producer who has worked with artists such as Osmani Garcia, Jacob Forever and Randy Malcolm.
Manduchi has participated in the Calle Ocho Festival in Miami, Florida. Being invited to the Univision stage, he shared the stage with artists such as Albita Rodriguez, Lefty Perez and El Salsero Marlon Fernandez. He has worked with artists such as Big Boy and “Pinito”, a renowned producer and sound engineer in the music industry.
